What a Week!

This Thanksgiving was full of blessings, for sure!  This was the first time Conroe ISD had the whole week off!  Jimmy didn’t want to work, while we had the entire week off, so he took the whole week off too!

We had family pictures taken on Monday and let me tell you, they are AWESOME!  I cannot wait to pick them up this week.  On Tuesday, we took Addison to her babysitter and just got a bunch of stuff done around town and around the house.

Wednesday, Mucka and Pap Cigich came in town!  This was their first time to meet Addison and they just loved her!

 

On Thanksgiving morning, Dad, Kasey and I ran the Run Through the Woods 5 mile race.  We came in really good time and had a blast!  It wasn’t cold yet-the weather was perfect!

 

Over the weekend, we just spent time with Mucka and Pap, Kasey, mom and dad.  It was so nice not to worry about school!

On Sunday, Addison was baptized!  She was a perfect baby the whole time!  It was wonderful because ALL of our family came into town for the occasion!

What a great week!  Its back to work now and its pretty hard leaving Addison everyday again!  We only have three weeks until Christmas break though!!

Shutterfly is AWESOME!

After every vacation, I go to shutterfly and make a cool photo book! They are great and we love looking through them from time to time. I always get cool Christmas presents from their site also!

Fun Run!

Some days, I LOVE my job! Yesterday was one of them! Our whole school has been getting pledges all week for the kids to run laps and raise money for our school.

The actual run was on Thursday. It was so incredible!

I was beat after the run, as were all the kids. We all ran about 2 miles! That is HUGE for kindergarten!

Addison’s hair is growing!!  Yea!  So far, it is very much Jimmy’s color…light brown with a hint of red!

5 Months and More…

I am desperately trying my best to update this thing more often!  I wish I could spend more time on it, but whenever I am online, it is normally through my phone.  I wonder if there is a blog app for android?!

Anyway…our sweet girl is getting bigger by the day!  I am so glad I have done these pictures every week!

 

We take a quick picture every Wednesday morning.  It makes getting out the door a bit hectic.  I would wait to take the picture when we got home, but there is no guarantee she will be in the cute outfit when I pick her up.

Last weekend, we took Friday and Monday off and went to Wurstfest in New Braunfels with mom and dad.

We had a great time and ate too much wonderfully fatty foods!

 

As of today, we have a 5 month old!  Holy cow!  Part of it feels like it flew by and part of me feels like it has gone slowly!

She finally rolled over from her back to her belly today and she also tried green peas for the first time!  I just made peas, then blended them up.  She loved them!  Check out her face!

We only have three weeks of school, then we get a full week off for Thanksgiving!  Jimmy is taking that week off, my grandparents are coming in town and Addison is getting baptized!  I should have a lot to blog about in the coming weeks!

I love Fall!

 

We are really loving the gorgeous fall weather lately!  Last Saturday was all about spending tome outside!

Dad and I ran in the Ten for Texas, ten mile run!  I had not run more than 6 miles since March, but I did it!  Jimmy, Addison and Mom came out to cheer us on!  

  

I snuck off the path to say a quick HI to Jimmy and baby!

Dad and I finished in 1 hour, 40 minutes!  I have definitely slowed down since Addison, but at least I didn’t stop!!

Later that afternoon, we went to a local pumpkin patch!

There was a real kangaroo hopping around the pumpkins!!!

 

I almost wish this gorgeous weather would stick around all the time!
