Holy Cow…Two posts in one day?!

If you are one of the three people who read my blog, enjoy this.  Since I am posting twice today, who knows how much longer it will be until I post again!

 

Kasey was in town a few weeks ago.  Mom and Dad wanted to take a family picture to mail out in their Christmas New Year’s cards.

Baby girl is getting so big!  These cute weekly pictures are getting harder and harder to take because she is so busy and just does not want to pose cutely anymore.

 

I realize she is not looking at the camera, but I had to post this one…look at that BLONDE hair!

I have figured out that she can sit in my sink (much like I do when I get ready in the morning) while I wash my face and brush my teeth at night!

 

She still LOVES her bath!!  She could sit in there for hours!

I know this is a bit blurry, but I was trying to be super sneaky.  She looks so sweet sleeping and has a little snore to make her even more adorable!

The Best Thing Ever

Hello!  Long time no write!  Sorry, we have been busy doing fun things with baby Addison!

 

Before we had Addison, I always heard people say that being a parent is the hardest job one will ever have, but it is also the best.

 

  I never really knew what that meant…how can something so hard be the best thing ever?  And what is so hard about a baby?

Ha.

Our time is not our own anymore,  Everything we do is juggled around her schedule – when she needs to nap, eat, take a bath, go to bed…

I am exhausted, but I have learned to live with it.  We have figured each other out and we all have a pretty great schedule.  She is a delight to watch and play with.  It is so exciting to watch her learn new things and have new experiences everyday.

 

Being with her is the best because we get to do wonderful things like go to the park and watch her little face light up when she is on the swings and slides for the first time!

The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

I realize Christmas was almost two weeks ago and I am just now getting around to doing any type of post.  I really have no clue where my whole break went!  Addison and I got in a pretty good routine each day and I loved having the time off!  At first, the days were long, but once we got each other figured out, it was so great!

 

Jimmy and I got a babysitter for the first time over the break!  My parents are so wonderful and watch Addison whenever we need them to.  But this time, we wanted to go out at night and keep Addison on her regular schedule of going to bed at 6:15!

We went to a Cheesy Sweater Party!  It was not too difficult finding tacky sweaters.  You can’t tell, but my sweater has Santa holding an American flag.  I even found matching earrings!  Santa wearing an Uncle Sam hat!  Who comes up with this stuff???,

Christmas morning was a blast!  Addison was more than spoiled with everything she was given.  We all took turns opening her presents, while she took her morning nap. 

Christmas weekend, some of our very good friends,Jon and Maria, came in town!  They have a three year old boy and a 3 month old baby boy.  They are also fostering a one month old baby girl!  Boy, do they have their hands buys!

Joshua loved Addison!

She still hasn’t mastered the skill of crawling, but she can scoot backwards and pivot pretty well!

Our sweet girl turned 7 months on January 2!  Where is the time going??
