MAUI WOWI!!

Oh how I wish we were still there! We went to Maui last week and had an amazing time! We did sooo much, but I think I recapped it pretty well in the following hundred pictures...

WELCOME TO HAWAII!!

Read this... I am trying to figure out how to frame it!
A Gorgeous Maui sunset and my wonderful parents!
Cheeseburger in Paradise (Go ahead, sing the song!!)

Sunset Luau, after the delicious food, open bar and only rainstorm all week!
View from the Road to Hana
Black Sand Beach, one of the best days!
The beach is made of tiny lava rocks, not really sand

The waves were pretty massive at this beach and took us out a few times!A secret waterfall with water that was about 30 degrees. We had to hike to find this, but it was beautiful!
Twin Falls
Look out to the island of Lanai
The Banyan Tree - covers about an acre of land and so much fun to play on!!
I could live here for sure!!!!!
Kaanapali Beach is awesome!!
One of the many rainbows we saw!
We had so much fun on this vacation! We decided that 7 nights is just not long enough for a vacation anymore! There is so much we want to do! Next time we go to Maui, it will be for at least 10 days! I still think we could live there though. They could use an extra teacher and banker, right??

Way to go, Jimmy!

I have to take a minute and brag on Jimmy! Since April, he has been working out everyday with the P90X program! We have both been doing it, but I'll admit that I don't do it every single day like he does. The program suggests that you take a Day 1, day 30, 60 and 90 picture to see how your body changes. He had already toned up and slimmed down so much in one month!

This past weekend, we signed up to run a 5K with his work. He thought he would have to stop and walk a few times since he never does cardio like that, but he ran the whole way! Not only that, but we finished in 26 min, 36 seconds. I was so excited that he did so well! A quick photo for our project before the race!

Man, oh man, I can't believe how bad I have been in keeping up with the blog! Its not because we haven't done anything, but maybe because we have done so much that I don't have time to update! Plus, most of my computer time has been taken up by my new IPod Touch or our never-ending Project 365 in 2009 .
Over Memorial Day weekend, Jimmy and I went to New Braunfels, Texas for a nice weekend away! Friends of ours have a perfect little house out there that we stay at. Here we are eating at 'Grandma's House.' (When you take a picture a day, you have to start taking pictures of every single thing you do!)
Just as we were about to get on the river, it started pouring! We waited it out in the car for a few minutes, then jumped on the Guadalupe.

On Sunday, my parents came out for the night. While we waited for them to get into town, we went to the Natural Bridge Caverns. In this picture, we are about 200 feet under ground!
When I was showing these pictures to a co-worker, she asked who made these formations. It was so cool to say, "God did! Isn't He amazing?!?"
On Monday, we toured around New B, like we always do. This is the clear spring where the Comal River begins. While we were posing for this picture, a jogger ran by, stuck his head in the spring (like a dog) and lapped up some water. He jumped off and took off running again. He gave us the idea to bring our plastic bottles here and bottle the water to sell.
You can't walk through Gruene without taking a picture in front of Gruene Hall! What a gorgeous day!!
Every time we visit the Hill Country, we want to move there more and more. Maybe one day, we will have our ranch in New Braunfels!
