I can’t believe it has already been over a month since Addison was born! Holy cow! We are getting the hang of things a little better each day. Coming up with a ‘routine’ that works for us has been a little tricky. Combine that with exhaustion, recovering from a c-section, taking care of two dogs who are used to being the center of attention and trying to keep some sort of normalcy and you have somewhat of a stressed out mom. I think once we get the hang of things, it will be mid-August and time for me to go back to work. What a sad day that will be. Until then, we are just enjoying little moments throughout the day with our sweet girl. Here are some pictures from the first month with Addison!
Addison wakes up about every 3-4 hours to eat. She is spending more and more time awake each day. I always feel like I should entertain her somehow when she is awake, but I am getting used to just leaving her in the swing, or even hanging out on the bed. Otherwise, I could not get anything done-ever! She is still in Newborn clothes! In fact, I had to find a replacement 4th of July outfit for her! I bought a cute one awhile ago that was 0-3 months size, but it swallows her! We had her one month appointment last Friday. She is 8 pounds, 2 ounces now! (24th percentile) She is 21.5" long! (75th percentile) Tall and skinny girl!
Our 4th of July was awesome, once again! Friends from church have an annual party, which is always amazing!
A teacher from school suggested I buy these number/letter blocks to take a picture of Addison each week. I can’t believe how fast each week is ticking by…slow down summer!
Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately! We have been a bit busy and I don’t really get on the lap top much! I am addicted to my I-Touch and play online with that! I will try better from now on!
