December Days

I know we say it every single month, but I cannot believe December is over half way gone!  Soon, Addison will be 7 months old!  Holy Cow!

 

This past Sunday, Santa stopped by Joyful Life for a quick visit after church!

Addison wasn’t too sure what to think of him!

I have this wee and next week off school!  Yea!  We were a little bored inside the house yesterday, so we went outside for a photo op.

Since it is 80+ degrees here, it was almost too hot to be out in pants!

As soon as I put her down, I realize she had never been in the grass before, but she didn’t seem to mind!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year…

Holy Cow!  We only have one week until it is Christmas break!  I am thrilled!  Even more so because this last week of school is full of fun, movie days and pajama day!

 

Our sweet girl turned 6 MONTHS old last week!  WHAT?!  When did that happen?  Jimmy and I agree that this has probably been the hardest six months, but really we wouldn’t change any of it!  We just love Addison so much!

Last weekend, she woke up not feeling so hot!  (See the picture above!)  Poor girl had a stuffy nose and maybe a bit of a fever.  After several loooong hours of being in the house, we decided to give her Tylenol and head to a place called Seven Acre Woods to meet Santa.

There was so much more to do than just meet Santa!  They had a petting zoo with all types of friendly animals!  Addison was as excited as a baby can get!

They also had baby swings!!  She LOVED them!! 

She did so good meeting Santa!  The actual picture they gave us is precious!  She has a great big smile on her face!

In keeping with her day of firsts, we gave her some cotton candy!  Just like me, she loved it!  Who doesn’t?!

On Sunday we went to lunch and I snapped this cute picture!

She is no longer sleeping with her swaddle and I think she loves it!  Every time I look at her monitor or go in her room, her arms are spread far apart!

I thought these two from her 27 week picture turned out so cute!

Oh!  And we think the reason she was so stuffy and feverish is because her first tooth broke through this week!  YEA!

Family Pictures!

Over the Thanksgiving break, we had our first round (of many, I’m sure) of family pictures taken!

The main reason I wanted pictures taken is because of this tutu!

I think they turned out great!  We have taken Addison to Penny’s nearly every month for pictures.  They have great deals and good coupons!

 

 

I wasn’t going to do Christmas cards, but because of the awesome Shutterfly deal from my previous post, I just had to!

 

We used all the pictures on our card and it looks great!

We also got one ‘non-Christmasy’ picture taken!

What a Week!

This Thanksgiving was full of blessings, for sure!  This was the first time Conroe ISD had the whole week off!  Jimmy didn’t want to work, while we had the entire week off, so he took the whole week off too!

We had family pictures taken on Monday and let me tell you, they are AWESOME!  I cannot wait to pick them up this week.  On Tuesday, we took Addison to her babysitter and just got a bunch of stuff done around town and around the house.

Wednesday, Mucka and Pap Cigich came in town!  This was their first time to meet Addison and they just loved her!

 

On Thanksgiving morning, Dad, Kasey and I ran the Run Through the Woods 5 mile race.  We came in really good time and had a blast!  It wasn’t cold yet-the weather was perfect!

 

Over the weekend, we just spent time with Mucka and Pap, Kasey, mom and dad.  It was so nice not to worry about school!

On Sunday, Addison was baptized!  She was a perfect baby the whole time!  It was wonderful because ALL of our family came into town for the occasion!

What a great week!  Its back to work now and its pretty hard leaving Addison everyday again!  We only have three weeks until Christmas break though!!

Shutterfly is AWESOME!

After every vacation, I go to shutterfly and make a cool photo book! They are great and we love looking through them from time to time. I always get cool Christmas presents from their site also!

Fun Run!

Some days, I LOVE my job! Yesterday was one of them! Our whole school has been getting pledges all week for the kids to run laps and raise money for our school.

The actual run was on Thursday. It was so incredible!

I was beat after the run, as were all the kids. We all ran about 2 miles! That is HUGE for kindergarten!
