On Thursday, my mom came to read to our class! She was so excited to meet the best kindergarten class ever! She is a teacher at another elementary school down the road, but wanted to spend some time at our school, with my fabulous kids!
She read us two books, from an author (Janet Stevens) who visited her school this week! The author even signed the book, just for our classroom!
One book she read needed two volunteers to dress up! She chose a boy to be the dog…
…and a girl to be the Princess Cat!
The cat even tied up the dog with his own leash!
They LOVED having her read!
K2 gave her two big thumbs up!
Thanks, mom, for coming to spend the morning with us! We can’t wait until you come back!
PS…Have I mentioned that I LOVE my job?? I have a wonderful class and couldn’t ask for more!

That's so fun your mom got to come by your class. I can't believe she's still teaching. I remember when she taught at Miller. Go Mavs!
